Position Overview:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy in inbound, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment and outbound. This role assists the Warehouse Manager in supervising warehouse staff, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining KPIs to meet business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and returns.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse associates to ensure productivity, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.
- Support implementation and monitoring of warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipments.
- Help develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow and reduce errors.
- Oversee proper use and maintenance of equipment, ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
- Assist in scheduling and planning labor according to volume forecasts and operational needs.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff to improve performance and promote safety awareness.
- Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience; supervisory experience is a must.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish or English/Mandarin) is a plus.
